PATU IV

A childhood memory with a twist.

This design is inspired by a cherished childhood memory involving my great-grandmother. As a child, whenever I got new shoes, I would rush to show them off, holding the shoes tight in my hands and shouting "Patu!" while trying to say "Sapatu", the Papiamentu word for shoe. "Patu" actually means duck. The mix-up stuck, and so did the joke.
